Joshua Wassung studied 2D and 3D animation at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Two days after graduating, Joshua was hired by Lucasfilm to work on THX 1138 and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. During his 2 years at Lucasfilm, Joshua created over 700 previz and postviz shots for film. In 2004, Joshua helped found The Third Floor, Inc. in Los Angeles where he is now a senior artist. Specializing in animation, compositing, matte painting, and dramatic camera work, Josh has had the opportunity to work on numerous exciting projects at The Third Floor. A few examples include postviz for Eragon, final animation supervising for Lair, and lead previz work on the upcoming feature films The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and Voyage of the Dawn Treader. |
