Eric Carney (C.F.O.) was born and raised in Northern California. It was while attending NYU Film School that Eric became interested in animation. Eric’s short animated film, “Framed” was selected for the 2002 Siggraph Animation Theater and has been shown in festivals around the world. Eric has worked as a character animator on several direct-to-video movies and video games including EA’s Return of the King. In 2003, Eric joined the team at the Skywalker Ranch to work on the animatics for Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. After leaving the Ranch, Eric, along with several other members of the animatics team, formed their own previz company, The Third Floor. In early 2006, Eric supervised 14 sequences of layout and animation for Warhawk, an epic Playstation 3 title. Eric worked closely with director Robert Zemeckis to design shots for his epic film Beowulf, and is currently working with Mr. Zemekis again on A Christmas Carol. Eric continues to work and supervise teams at The Third Floor, while also serving as its Chief Financial Officer.
